Claire Brooks
With more than three decades supporting older adults and vulnerable individuals, Claire has witnessed just how significantly foot problems can impact day-to-day life. This inspired her to qualify as a Foot Health Practitioner in 2025, earning a Diploma in Foot Health credit-rated by Queen Margaret University through the SMAE Institute in Maidenhead.
During her 31 years in the housing sector, Claire managed several Extra Care schemes supporting older adults and individuals living with dementia and mental health conditions. Over this time, she saw how frequently foot health issues caused pain, reduced mobility, and affected residents’ overall wellbeing.
Despite carrying us through life, our feet are often the most neglected part of the body. Claire is passionate about promoting the importance of foot care, because healthy feet help you stay active, comfortable, and independent for as long as possible.
Outside the clinic, Claire leads an active lifestyle, enjoys regular exercise, family time and walking her dog.
