Pilates Instructor

Growing up in Zimbabwe, Sarah adopted an active and sporty lifestyle from a very young age. After studying Fashion and Clothing Design in college, Sarah decided she had more passion for health and well-being than she did for retail. She continued to qualify as a Personal Trainer and a Tutor and Assessor in the Fitness Industry.

Sarah has been developing her skills ever since; paving her way through various subjects and topics of exercise for over a decade. Having found sanctuary in the holistic world of exercise, Sarah decided to gain her Yoga Teaching qualification in Nepal, under the direct guidance of Swami Satyananda Vishnuswaroop.  A proud and surreal experience, which has distinguished and highlighted her traditional style of teaching true and unmodified yoga, honouring its heritage and value.

Sarah also teaches Pilates mat-work and equipment, Piyo, Animal Flow, Spinning, Kettlebells and Aqua Aerobics. She is also a qualified LTA tennis coach, a nutritionist and an exercise referral instructor, specialising in lower back care and pain management.

Sarah's incorporates a lot of bodyweight training into her coaching skills and focuses on developing functional skills, that assist clients cope in their daily routines, by becoming stronger and more mobile. Sarah strongly believes that the importance of our mind and body connection working harmoniously, will improve our physical and mental wellbeing.  Re-education of movements and patterns will ensure individuals improve their balance, posture and stability, which in return minimises the risk of injury and maximises the potential of strength and functionality.

Sarah is also a keen runner and after being involved in a traumatic car accident whilst out running, it gave her the grace and appreciation of every foot step she is able to take. Never taking movement for granted, it is a gift that needs nourished with focus and nurture! Her faiths and beliefs keep her humble and striving to be a better person and a better coach. She feels if she can assist individuals to rehabilitate their mind and body to feel stronger and more powerful, she has found her purpose in the industry.
