Daniel Edmonson

Dan graduated from the European School of Osteopathy in 2012 with an M.Ost degree in Osteopathy. This course taught him a wide range of treatment approaches from structural to cranial and visceral, which he fully incorporates in all his treatments.

Dan has always been active in sports and fitness covering a variety of sports from running/triathlon to CrossFit, rock climbing and martial arts.  This background in sports led him to be picked as part of the medical team at the 2018 IAAF World indoor athletics championships.

Dan has always strived to provide more for his patients which has lead him to become qualified in medical acupuncture, Kinesiology taping and developing his skill in strength and conditioning, injury rehabilitation and sports nutrition.  He has also over 10 years experience in running gait/footwear analysis and is in the process of becoming an England Athletics qualified running coach.

In his desire to develop osteopathy, Dan went back to the European School of Osteopathy and part of the faculty and has lectured on over 10 subjects while also graduating with a PGCHE teaching qualification in 2014.

Dan first became interested in osteopathy while suffering several injuries while competing at a regional level in several sports as a junior.  He particularly liked the holistic/global approach to osteopathy and how it was a treatment approach that wanted to find the true cause of the problem and not just treating the symptoms, a philosophy he uses today in all his treatments.
